“Though he was the odds-on favorite to win the Atlanta mayoral election last week, Kasim Reed’s odds have been steadily worsening to the point that he’s no longer the favorite, but his odds are still solid,” says a US-Bookies spokesperson. “However, Felicia Moore has been rising to the top of oddsmakers’ lists, where she’s now the sole favorite with a slight lead over Reed.”
No other candidates’ odds changed since last week. Following Reed, Andre Dickens is 25/1 to win the mayoral election (3.8% implied probability). He’s followed by Sharon Gay and Kirsten Dunn, who are both tied at 33/1 (2.9%).
“Polls and odds are showing a slight edge for Felicia Moore, but both anticipate a close race in the final days before the election,” says a US-Bookies spokesperson. “But with momentum being in Moore’s favor, it’s a good sign for her campaign, especially considering how much her odds improved in the past two weeks.”
