Dr. Mehmet Oz is the current the favorite to win the U.S. Senate Election in Pennsylvania in 2022, according to betting aggregators US-Bookies.com (See Disclaimer Below). Dr. Oz has 9/5 odds to win the election (35.7% implied probability), and he’s followed closely by John Fetterman at 12/5 (29.4%).
“Dr. Oz’s odds to win the Republican primary improved since earlier this week, and he’s overtaken David McCormick as the favorite to represent the GOP in the election,” says a US-Bookies spokesperson. “Following his campaign announcement, Dr. Oz quickly became the man to beat in the Senate election, but the Democratic favorite John Fetterman isn’t far behind.”

Since December 6, Dr. Oz’s odds to win the Republican primary for the 2022 Senate Election in Pennsylvania improved from 17/10 (37% implied probability) to 8/5 (38.5%). At the same time, McCormick’s odds worsened from 5/4 (44.4%) to 17/10 (37%). Jeff Bartos also improved from 6/1 (14.3%) to 9/2 (18.2%).
Though McCormick is close behind Dr. Oz in the Republican primary odds, he’s much further out in the general election odds. This suggests that Dr. Oz would have a better chance at winning over any of the Democratic candidates than McCormick would.

John Fetterman is the odds-on favorite to be the Democratic nominee in the Senate election. At 4/7 odds (63.6% implied probability), Fetterman holds a considerable lead over his nearest competitor, Conor Lamb, who has 9/5 odds to win the primary (35.7%).
