The Pac-12 Conference doesn’t always get a ton of recognition as one of the best college basketball leagues in the country. That could change this season as there are some exciting teams set to do battle.
The Pac-12 was represented in the Final Four a season ago with UCLA, and some other teams made deep tournament runs. That momentum should carry over into the 2021-22 season and lead to a great conference championship race.
There are still some bad teams in this league as well, and only a small group of teams truly have a shot at winning the title.
Here is a look at the current betting odds to win the Pac-12 men’s basketball championship:
- UCLA -143
- Arizona +300
- USC +400
- Oregon +1500
- Washington State +3000
- Utah +3500
- Colorado +4000
- Stanford +10000
- California +15000
- Washington +30000
- Arizona State +50000
- Oregon State +50000
UCLA Remains the Pac-12 Favorite
The UCLA Bruins were heavy preseason favorites to win the Pac-12 Conference. They are still the favorites today at -143. UCLA made an unbelievable run to the Final Four a season ago, and the Bruins return much of the same roster.
The nonconference portion of the schedule has been challenging for UCLA, and that should prepare them well for Pac-12 Conference action. Other teams in the league appear to be getting better, but they will continue to try to chase down the Bruins.

Arizona is Loaded
The Arizona Wildcats have come out of nowhere this season, and they look like a legitimate Final Four contender through the first month of the year. Tommy Lloyd has taken over the Arizona program. He was able to put together a talented roster of international players.
Arizona just traveled to Illinois and took care of the Fighting Illini in Champaign in impressive fashion on Saturday. The Wildcats have not lost a game yet, and they are pouring in over 90 points per game.
There will be some growing pains for Arizona once the Pac-12 Conference season begins. Still, the Wildcats look like a real threat.
Remaining Contenders
It’s pretty clear that UCLA and Arizona have emerged as the title favorites, and that should be a great battle to follow. There could always be a surprise team sneak in and win the title as well, but there are only about two other teams with enough talent to get it done.
The USC Trojans (+400) and the Oregon Ducks (+1500) were both NCAA Tournament teams a season ago, and that experience should give them a boost. They will have to find a way to slow down the mighty Bruins and Wildcats. Also, many pundits suggest that both of these two teams have a legitimate chance to cause an upset.
In the end, there are just four main favorites with a chance at winning the Pac-12.
